Eve was born in Mossman, North Queensland and won her first Art Prize while attending Ballina Primary School. Self-taught and mainly painting in oil colours, Eve has always enjoyed capturing the elements of both still and turbulent water, sky and atmosphere. Her father was a Boat Builder and Ships’ Master leaving her with an appreciation of the skills and craftsmanship that go into the building of boats with their fixtures, fittings and tackle alongside the inspiration of all the other elements of beach and marine life.
Eve has been awarded prizes and commendations for various categories of subjects like Abstract, Baby & Mother, Life Studies, Religious and Land/Seascapes: including mangrove, gum tree, city, historical bridges & buildings, street scenes and country homes.
